October update

EAT more soup - Annabel and Tommi have teamed up with EAT, the sandwich, coffee and soup company to raise additional funds for their chosen homeless charities.  From 1st October - 31st December 2005, all 47 of EAT’s UK cafes will donate 5p from every soup sold to homelessness charities The Salvation Army and Centrepoint. Last year the EAT chain sold over 2 million cups of soup so organisers are expecting to raise thousands of pounds.  In celebration of the fundraising drive, a number of celebrity chefs who have donated a recipe to Soup Kitchen will visit various EAT stores around London to sign books, serve soup and raise awareness.  Look out for special posters, soup cups and bags instore and see upcoming press for more information on National Soup Week (31st October - 4th November).

To find your nearest EAT café and a full programme of events, soup menus and chefs involved go to www.eatcafe.co.uk

With each pack of Maldon Salt comes the opportunity to buy Soup Kitchen at a reduced rate. All packs of Maldon salt on the supermarket or shop shelf contain a special offer to buy Soup Kitchen at a bargain price.

A celebratory launch event for Soup Kitchen will take place on November 1st - images to follow.
